I have an existing PayPal account so why I am being asked to add a card?

You can use your existing PayPal account to pay to upgrade your membership if you have a debit or credit card attached to your Paypal account or if you have sufficient funds in credit there to cover the payment.

If your PayPal account is only set up for bank funding, unfortunately, it will not be possible to upgrade your Friends Reunited Dating Dating registration.

The reason for this is that we need to take the payment from you in order to perform an instant upgrade on your account. If a payment is made via PayPal through a direct debit to your bank account, the funds would  take up to 5 days to reach us. This delayed payent system works with other websites or merchandisers as they can wait for the payment before they release your goods to you but can not work on Friends Reunited Dating Dating as your upgrade is instant.

You can still use PayPal to upgrade your Friends Reunited Dating Dating account if you add funds to your Paypal account or add a card to it.
