How do I finish a conversation using Instant Chat?

Click the cross in the top right hand corner of the Instant Chat box. The other member will be notified that you have left the conversation. They may invite you to chat again, and you can choose if you wish to do so.

By clicking on the box in the top right hand corner of the Instant Chat box, you are not logging out of Instant Chat and you are able to chat to anyone online.
