How can I stop getting email alerts when I receive a message?

You can stop receiving an email alert when someone sends you a message through Friends Reunited Datingby going to the 'profile' link at the top of the page then on the drop down list click on 'Your Settings' and untick the 'email me message notifications' option in the Your Settings menu.

However, please be aware that this will not prevent you receiving an email when someone sends you a 'Wink'.

As there is no message contained in a 'Wink', there is not a way of blocking them as you would not know that that person wanted to contact you if an email was not sent.

If you don't want to receive any contacts through Friends Reunited Dating, a couple of tips to get around this problem would be - you could choose to suspend your profile through the Your Settings area.

Alternatively, if you do want to receive contacts but are worried about other people reading them at the email address you are currently using, you can change your email address in the 'My details/profile' area to the left of the site.
