How do I contact someone?

There are many ways you can contact someone you like.  If you click on a member’s photo you will be taken to their profile page.  If you run a search you will see various links in their short profile you can click on and be taken to the members profle page.

Through a member’s profile

You'll see, under the members profile details some icons under the word 'interested?'.  There are four icons with 4 options and if you hover over the icons you'll see what each one means:

1.  Send a Wink.  This is a service all members can use regardless of membership status.  By sending a Wink, you are sending the member an automated email that says you have seen their profile, and would like them to view yours.

2.  Send an email.  Only subscribed members can do this.  Just type in your personal message and click ‘send’ where directed.

3.  Send an Ecard.  Ecards can be sent for all different reasons.  It could be the member’s birthday, you might just want to break the ice with a ‘Hi’ or a special occasion known only to the two of you.  You need to be a subscribed member to send an an Ecard.

4.  Add to hotlist.  This allows you to save the person to a list of favourites as you may like to contact this person in the future or it maybe someone you want to contact regularly. 

Through a search results page

After you have run a search, you will see a member’s photograph (if they have one) and a short paragraph about themselves.  In addition you will see if they are online and available for chat ("chat now" icon).  If they have a photograph, hover over this and you'll see some icons, an envelope that you can click on and then send the member a message, a 'wink' icon and and ecard option.
